Placement Services

We are currently expanding this department of our practice. Our CEO recently launched a program to help young aspiring students gain first hand experience within the medical field. This program is designed to help high school students and early college students familiarize themselves with a career in medicine. We are in the program's inital phase, however, over the coming months, we anticipate creating bonds with multiple practitioners over the US who, like us, want to give back to young students just like you!

For a set fee(you pay only if we are successful), we will try to place you in a local clinic or hospital with a passionate and experienced physician to serve as your mentor. These volunteer positions and/or observerships are not paid, and are meant only to provide you the atmosphere of medicine. Because of liability issues, you will be unable to perform any procedures, document in the chart, or be involved in any patient care issues. You are free to follow your preceptor and aquaint yourself with the daily operations of the facility in which you are working. At AAMA, we will only contract with superb physicians willing to expose you to the field of medicine. Our doctors in the community will be excited to bring you on, show you the ropes and answer any and all of your questions. You will be exposed to patients under the supervision of your preceptor. You will become familiar with office based acute illnesses, history-taking, and physical diagnosis. This is just another way AAMA is leading this industry. Clerkships/Externships

These programs are intended mainly for foreign medical graduates. We are very excited about this service! So many of our students that come from abroad have asked us to help them find excellent hands-on training institutions. We have actively pursued this on behalf of our clients. Currently, we are in communication with various organizations eager to contribute to medical education just as much as we are. All of our trainees will be provided with ACGME accredited programs only. We believe that if you do a clerkship or an externship, that, you must work with a preceptor skilled in the teaching of medicine. This weighs heavily when it comes time to apply to residency. In today's competitive Match system, US clinical experience is a MUST for any program director! Through our program, you will work either as a memeber of a medical team or one on one with an attending. All programs are ACGME approved and through AAMA, you are covered by our malpractice insurance, saving you thousands of dollars!!! Your experience will include:

1. Rounding and documenting on your patients
2. History and Physical Taking Skills
3. Learn how to present your patients to Attendings
4. Formulate a Differntial Diagnosis
5. Interpret Laboratory Data
6. Learn the intricacies of the US Medical System
and much much more!!!

We offer flexible 4, 8, and even 12 week rotations through various specialties and subspecialties. In order to be considered for this program, the absolute necessary requirements are:

1. PPD & Immunization records
2. Medical School Transcripts
3. Three Letters of Recommendation
4. CV
5. Criminal Background Check
6. Acceptable proficiency in the English Language

Additional requirements vary based on the individual programs we are affiliated with. The cost is again the most affordable on the market. We are here to help YOU! Our fee is simple, and covers your malpractice insurance, the preceptor stipend, and our administrative costs. We do not offer housing at this time, but we can assist you in locating appropriate shelter. Give us a call right now!!

Recruiting

In the future, we may plan to launch a recruiting platform to help students make their dreams come true. We have been contacted by various institutions overseas to aid in finding exceptional candidates for their respective programs. This is not currently available as we must take the appropriate steps to protect our clients. Please check back frequently or call to inquire about the developments of these plans.
