Frequently Asked Questions
1. Why should I hire AAMA to be my consultant? There is no one in the industry more experienced, more knowledgable, or more committed to YOU than the consultants here at Aspire Academic Medical Advisors. We have developed a complete and fool-proof consultancy plan, with you and your future at the fore-front. Our physician consultants are dedicated professionals with years of experience in academic medical admissions. On top of that, we welcome you to compare our fee schedule with that of the competition. We charge markedly less than our competitors and we can do so because we know that once you use our services, you will come back to us for any of your future needs. If you are finishing up and won't require our services any longer, we are confident you will be a strong source of referrals. Our services are superior and without question, we are confident you will be satisfied with our commitment to you. 2. Why don't you advertise guaranteed success? Although we would love to provide you with a guarantee, it is impossible for AAMA or anyone else to guarantee you an admissions approval. Consultancy firms out there claiming a 100% guarantee admissions rating are liars! Steer clear!! There is no way anyone can make that guarantee! Here at AAMA, we provide you with an honest assessment based on your background, your goals, and your capabilities. We guarantee an improved application and a much better shot at being accepted. 3. When should I start working with AAMA? It depends on your level of comfort. Not everyone needs comprehensive consultation. People come from different backgrounds and eduation comfort zones. You can start anywhere at anytime. We have seen much higher success rates with people working with us for at least 6-8 hours. Your admission rates improve with increased consultation hours. Although we do not recommend only a 1 -2 hr consultation, we will honor your request. 4. Are your consultants easy to work with? We take pride in who we hire. We only invite the best to become our medical advisors. All of our advisors are highly trained and well respected in their respective fields. They have worked with students and residents throughout their careers and are academic professionals. They are extremely easy to work with, friendly, courteous, and ready and willing to help get you accepted. Give them a try! You won't be sorry! 5. Will you prepare my Personal Statement? We will take every step to ensure you have a completed masterpiece. However, we will not write them for you. We will guide you every step of the way, give you ideas to help you shine, and we will help you revise it up to three times if you want us too. At AAMA, we believe in YOU, and your acceptance on your climb to becoming a medical professional is your achievement. The success is YOURS and yours alone. We do not take credit for anything, nor do we serve a your shortcut. We are your group of advisors, the best qualified to produce results, that's what you are paying for. 6. Why are your prices considerably lower than the competitors? We have been around for a while. We are just now beginning to expand. Because we have a strong client base and an extremely solid referral base, we are able to keep our fees affordable. Most consultancy firms charge hundreds more and even thousands! Our aim is not to price gouge our clients. When we take over the industry, we are confident that our business will continue to prosper, and when we do, our prices will likely never change. Our fee schedule was specifically designed with YOU in mind. We understand how much you've had to spend to pursue your dreams of becoming a doctor. We have been there. Our fees help us cover our administrative costs and consultant time. Because all of the consultants at AAMA are doctors with a commitment to give back to the future of medicine, our physician reimbursement is not as high. Our doctor advisors are content with a smaller reimbursement. Our mission is much bigger than bookkeeping and finances. We want to see you succeed! Aspire. It's Your Future, Accepted! 7. How come you don't have package offers? We do not believe in package offer. Some consultants will charge you over $3500 for their package of services. They may advertise that they are offering application review, personal statement revision, 2-4 hours on telephone consultation, among other petty services. We feel we can provide superior service in a lot less time, amounting to a lot less cost. We feel that if you were to partake in a complete and comprehensive program with us for any level of your academic career, you should expect to spend approx 1000-1500 only, considerably less than the competitor. Don't pay for empty promises. Pay only for what you need! If you would prefer, talk to us about which services you would like to combine, and we can alternatively give you a comparable price quote, but definitely not $3500!! 8. Are you really going to be offering observerships and externships? Absolutely! We are excited about this too. We are currently working with program directors across the US to establish ties and build relationships. We are continuing to add to our list daily. Contact us today to see how we can place you in a US hospital today! Certain requirements apply... 9. What do we do if we I don't get into medical school? This is a possibility, although, we feel, that after you use our services, the chances are slim. If in the event, you did not get accepted to medical school, we will re-evaluate your application and attempt to correct any possible deficiencies. This is free of charge. We will not charge you for a second-look. If you instruct us to, we can begin exploring other options, such as a foreign medical school. We are confident that we can achieve success through this option. 10. What about IMGs? IMGs are our specialty! We know everything you need to know about the entire process. AAMA is all you need to achieve success here in the US. Please see our section on International Medical Graduates for details! |
